The year was 1997 and Detroit In Effect was on a roll with dropping their style of electro bass and little did they know that one of the tracks on this release would go on to become a dance floor phenomenon with it's hypnotic melody and repetitive lyrics, "R U Married"! For over two decades and counting it's still a favorite across Europe! Also just added to this release is an unreleased track from the M.A.P. vault!

Maaco’s first release came in 1992, with a group called “One Nation” and he later hooked up with DJ PDOG and together they formed M.A.P. Records. They put out stuff on their own label as Detroit In Effect and later hooked up with SERGE of CLONE Records. DJ Maaco has since then played numerous times in Europe and the U.K. dropping raw insistent electro and Detroit bass music that moves bodies! ... more
